Looking for a Derbyshire Pub with a garden?
Enjoy going out to a pub after lockdown
The welcome sight of the bright abundance of tulips and the sight of lambs in fields signals that winter is over and we can start to enjoy the great outdoors. The promise of spring is fresh in the air and here in Derbyshire our gritstone houses and buildings shine bright in the warm spring sunshine. Many of our great local businesses cannot wait to welcome visitors back and one group of business where this is particularly the case is our traditional English pubs.
Many pub names in Derbyshire link with the local heritage and traditions. A common pub name for instance is the Devonshire Arms linking the Duke of Devonshire’s significance in the county. There are also pubs linking our mining heritage, such as the Miners Arms and the Miners Standard. Other names reflect the importance of farming such as The Barley Mow, The Wheatsheaf, The Bull and The Plough.
We have many great pubs in Derbyshire and it is a good time to showcase a few that have beer gardens and many with outside spaces have now reopened and are offering table service for outside eating and drinking.
