What time is check-in?
As we are a small establishment there are times during the day when we may not be in. For this reason, check-in is between 4-7pm. If you need to arrive later we will always aim to accommodate this but please contact in advance to discuss this.
Do you have car parking?
Yes, we have an onsite car park, with a car parking space for each room. Our car park is accessed from the main road through Matlock, Causeway Lane. It is not necessary to turn onto Knowleston Place.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is provided and the signal in guest rooms and the sitting room is good.
What time is breakfast served?
Monday to Friday breakfast is served form 8-9am. At weekends and bank holidays breakfast is served from 8.30-915am. If you require an earlier breakfast, please do let us know and a continental option can be placed in your room fridge.
Are you able to cater for dietary requests?
Yes, we will always try to cater for dietary requests. We always have gluten free options available. IF you have any specific questions please do contact as we are always happy to discuss any requirements.
Do you serve evening meals?
No, we do not offer evening meals as there are a number of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance that offer a variety of good quality food (see eating out page).
Is Glendon licenced?
No, as there are a range of bars within a short walking distance. In addition, there is a silent mini-fridge in each room. We also provide wine glasses and cork screw in each bedroom.
What facilities are in rooms?
All rooms are en-suite. All rooms have a clock/radio/alarm, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a silent mini-fridge with fresh milk. All bedding is hypoallergenic.
Do you have ground floor accommodation?
Unfortunately, no. All our rooms are located on the first or second floor. There are 16 steps up to the first floor. The stairs are relatively wide and there is a rail on the left when ascending.
Do you have a sitting room?
Yes, it is located on the first floor. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room at any time. There are books, information and board games.
Is there a minimum stay?
Usually the minimum stay at weekends is two nights and at bank holidays three nights. It is occasionally possible to offer one night during peak months, please telephone to enquire. A supplement may be payable.
